Shiva is a police officer who has turned corruption into a cheerful lifestyle, collecting money from crooks and businessmen alike and feeling no shame about it. He has his own reasons: an old grudge against his father, a senior officer who left the family long ago. When Shiva is posted to Chennai, he befriends the local strongman to profit from him, but a series of shocking crimes and a woman's plea for justice force him to look at what his uniform should mean. From then on the comic con man becomes a one-man force against the very gang he once served. Motta Siva Ketta Siva is the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit Pataas (2015), reshaped around Raghava Lawrence's mass style, with comedy, dances and loud action scenes.
