Joe B. Carvalho is a self-styled private eye whose confidence far outstrips his skill. Hired to track down a runaway girl, he bumbles from one wrong lead to the next while, in parallel, Carlos, a hitman who can turn himself into almost anyone with the help of disguises, is on a mission of his own. Their paths keep crossing, and the case also brings Joe face to face with the police officer he once loved. Mr Joe B. Carvalho is a broad spoof comedy built on Arshad Warsi's deadpan clumsiness and Javed Jaffrey's string of disguises, the two having earlier worked together in the Dhamaal films.
