Muddy (2021)

Muddy is an action-adventure film set in the world of mud racing, the off-road motorsport in which modified four-wheel-drive vehicles battle steep, flooded and muddy tracks. Its story follows two young men, cousins with old grudges, whose rivalry spills from family life onto the racing courses, where the competition turns dangerous. Directed by debutant Pragabhal, the film stages its races with real off-road vehicles on rough terrain. It was billed as India's first mud-race film and was released in December 2021 in Malayalam and several other languages, including Hindi. The background score is by Ravi Basrur, the composer of the KGF films.
