The hero is a decent, soft-spoken man, but a run of brazen thefts of black money points to someone who looks exactly like him. Is there a second man, or is he leading a double life? A dogged police officer sets out to find the truth while the suspect stays one step ahead, and Nithya Menen's character is drawn into his world. Mudinja Ivana Pudi ('catch him if you can') was made by veteran director K. S. Ravikumar as a bilingual, shot simultaneously in Tamil and in Kannada, where it is known as Kotigobba 2, a sequel in name to Vishnuvardhan's hit Kotigobba. It was one of Sudeep's biggest Kannada successes of 2016, with music by D. Imman.
