Mudrank - The Stamp (2009)

Mudrank - The Stamp is a 2009 Hindi film directed by Shakir Shah, with Kaluram Dhobale, Milind Gunaji and Raza Murad. 'Mudrank' means stamp duty, and the film draws on the counterfeit stamp-paper scandal that came to light in the early 2000s, in which forged stamp papers worth vast sums were sold across several states with the help of corrupt officials. It follows how such a racket grows from small beginnings into a nationwide operation. It is a modest production rather than a big-budget scam drama.
