Muktha Manasu (2024)

Muktha Manasu ('a free heart') is a 2024 Kannada romantic drama directed by and starring Mohan Ranganatha, with Manya. Its Hindi version, Aashiq Rikshawala, gives away the set-up: the hero is a rickshaw driver whose simple life is changed by love, and whose decency is tested by the obstacles that follow. It is a small regional production with a sentimental, everyday feel.
