Mumbai Salsa (2007)

Mumbai Salsa follows a group of young professionals in Mumbai whose lives cross in bars, clubs and offices. Their stories range from a casual pick-up to a serious relationship, and from an Indian man and a foreign woman trying to bridge their cultures to friends unsure whether to commit. The film treats the city's after-dark social life as a place where modern relationships are tested, and it moves between comedy and gentle drama rather than big melodrama. It was one of the early urban, multiplex-era ensemble romances, and it gave comedian Vir Das one of his first sizeable screen roles.
