Cherry is a cheerful software engineer who spends his time chasing his girlfriend Madhu and helping friends out of trouble. Strange things start to happen: people attack him, a police officer seems to know him, and in Kolkata a man who looks exactly like him is fighting a violent gang and the politicians who protect it. As Cherry is pulled into Siddharth Naayak's world, the connection between the two becomes clear. Naayak gives Ram Charan a double role in a classic mass entertainer from V. V. Vinayak, with comedy, a mystery about identity and large-scale action. It was a big Sankranti hit in 2013, and its Kolkata settings set it apart from typical Hyderabad-based actioners.
