Nakabandi (1990)

Nakabandi ("blockade") is a 1990 Hindi action drama directed by Shibu Mitra, a specialist in big-cast action films of the 1980s. Dharmendra leads as a man who stands up to a ruthless gang, with Sridevi, then at the peak of her stardom, as the heroine and Chunky Pandey in support. The story moves through injustice, family loss and the hero's campaign to bring the villains down, with the usual mix of action, melodrama and songs. It is one of the films that paired Dharmendra and Sridevi in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
