Veer's father spent his life searching for the kavach, the divine armour of Karna from the Mahabharata, said to make its wearer invincible. When the father's map becomes the target of dangerous men, Veer sets out to finish the quest and teams up, reluctantly, with his older half-brother Vicky, a tough, brooding man he has every reason to resent. Their journey takes them through forests and tribal territory, with a spirited young woman along for the ride and the flamboyant villain Bali chasing the same prize. Naksha ("map") is a rare Hindi attempt at an Indiana Jones-style treasure-hunt adventure, mixing jungle action, booby traps and sibling drama, and Jackie Shroff's over-the-top villain is one of its talking points. Pritam composed the songs.
