Nalaayak (1978)

Nalaayak ("good-for-nothing") is a 1978 Hindi family drama with action, directed by Padmanabh, with Jeetendra in the lead and Leena Chandavarkar as the heroine. The hero is dismissed by those around him as a worthless layabout, but when trouble comes to the family he turns out to be the one who stands up for them. The film mixes romance, comedy, family sentiment and fights in the manner of the Jeetendra entertainers of the late 1970s, when he was one of the busiest leading men in Hindi cinema.
