Namo Bhootatma (2014)

Komal plays a man who has been dodging trouble all his life when he suddenly comes into an old bungalow in the countryside. Seeing a chance to make money, he and his friends open it as a resort, but their guests start dying in strange ways, and it becomes clear that a ghost with a history in the house is not happy with the new owners. As the bodies pile up, the hosts must keep up appearances, hide the evidence and work out what the spirit wants. Namo Bhootatma is a Kannada remake of the Tamil horror comedy Yaamirukka Bayamey (2014), and it gave comedian Komal Kumar a lead role in the haunted-house genre. Aishwarya Menon plays the heroine.
