Naqli Nawab (1962)

Naqli Nawab ("fake nawab") is a 1962 Hindi film starring Ashok Kumar, with Manoj Kumar, then a young actor early in his career, in a leading role. As the title suggests, the story revolves around an impersonation, a commoner passing himself off as an aristocrat, and the romance and complications that follow in a world of old Muslim nobility. It is a modest black-and-white entertainer with songs and comedy.
