Radha Krishna has been raised by his father to respect and protect women, and he spends his time helping women in trouble. When a marriage he does not want is arranged for him, he decides that the easiest way out is to pretend that he is gay, and the deception lands him in an escalating string of misunderstandings with his family, the woman he really likes and the woman he was meant to marry. Narthanasala ("dance hall") is a Telugu comedy from 2018 starring Naga Shaurya, with music by Mahati Swara Sagar. The title borrows from a classic Telugu mythological film of the same name. It is a light, situational comedy built around its central pretence.
