Nayee Padosan (2003)

Nayee Padosan is a light youth comedy about a group of carefree young men in a housing society whose lives are turned upside down by the arrival of a lively new neighbour. Each of them tries to win her over with schemes, tricks and showing off, and their rivalry spills into pranks against one another and her family, while she proves well able to handle them. The title nods to the classic comedy Padosan (1968), though the story is its own. The film introduced several new faces, including Mahek Chahal, Vikas Kalantri and Rahul Bhatt, and is a breezy, song-filled early-2000s romantic comedy.
