Nayyapudai (2016)

Nayyapudai is a 2016 Tamil action comedy directed by Vijay Kiran, with veteran director S. A. Chandrasekhar, father of actor Vijay, in an unusual leading role as an ageing man with plenty of fight left in him. Lyricist Pa. Vijay and Chandini Tamilarasan play the younger leads. The story pits the old man against dangerous men who threaten his family, and much of the fun lies in seeing a senior citizen take on the action hero role. It is a small commercial entertainer with comedy, fights and songs.
