Nee Paathi Naan Paathi (1991)

Nee Paathi Naan Paathi ("you are half, I am half") is a Tamil romantic family drama directed by Vasanth, who later made Keladi Kanmani and Aasai. Rahman plays a young man whose relationships with two women, played by Gouthami and Heera, drive a story about marriage, trust and the compromises love asks for. Vasanth's gentle, middle-class touch and a melodious soundtrack by Maragathamani (M. M. Keeravani) are the attractions, along with Heera in one of her early roles.
