Neela Akash (1965)

Neela Akash ("blue sky") is a 1965 Hindi romantic drama directed by Rajendra Bhatia, with Dharmendra and Mala Sinha in the leads and Mehmood providing comedy. Its lasting legacy is Madan Mohan's score, which includes the playful Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle duet Aapko Pyar Chhupane Ki Buri Aadat Hai, still a favourite on old-film radio. For viewers who come to 1960s cinema for the music and the leading pair's chemistry, it is a pleasant period piece.
