Anu is a gifted young musician whose life is controlled by people who see her only as a way to money and power. When she tries to escape, she finds an unexpected protector in Venu, a calm, quietly fearless man who seems to turn up whenever she needs him and who has his own unexplained reasons for standing by her. As her enemies close in, Venu takes them on one by one, and the truth about who he is and why he cares slowly comes out. Nenunnanu ("I am here") was a hit for Nagarjuna in 2004, helped by M. M. Keeravani's melodious soundtrack, whose songs were among the most played Telugu songs of the year. Shriya Saran and Aarthi Agarwal play the heroines.
