NORA Oldies is one of the web channels in the NORA family, a brand of Regiocast based in Kiel on Germany's Baltic coast. NORA started life as Nord-Ostsee-Radio on FM across Schleswig-Holstein and now lives on entirely as a set of online streams, of which this is the sixties and seventies one. The playlist is exactly what the name promises, the big hits of those two decades picked band by band rather than thrown together, so the Beatles sit next to the Eagles and Smokie next to Abba. There are no presenters, no bulletins and no chat, which makes it easy company for a long afternoon.
