Ombattane Dikku (2022)

Ombattane Dikku ("the ninth direction") is a Kannada crime thriller directed by Dayal Padmanabhan, known for compact, offbeat thrillers. Yogesh, popularly called Loose Mada Yogi, plays the lead in a tougher role than usual, with Aditi Prabhudeva as the heroine. The title plays on the idea of a ninth direction beyond the usual eight, a way out for a man trapped by crime and circumstance. It circulates in Hindi as Rough Gangster.
