Srikanth plays an upright police officer whose attempts to enforce the law are crushed by a corrupt politician and his allies, leaving him and his family to suffer. Instead of giving up, he works his way into politics and starts bringing down the system from inside, exposing the dirty secrets of those in power. Writer-director Posani Krishna Murali, known for his outspoken political views, packed the film with sharp dialogue against corruption, and Kota Srinivasa Rao plays the scheming politician. It was one of the bigger hits of Srikanth's later career and led to a follow-up in 2013.
