Ram, a graffiti artist living in Sydney, has a theory: love is wonderful but never lasts, so the honest thing is to say so. He has had many romances, each ending once the shine wore off, and when he falls hard for the lively Jaanu, he refuses to promise her eternal love, much to her family's dismay. Telling his story to a group of strangers, he tries to defend his idea while life tests it. Orange is a romantic drama from Bhaskar, director of Bommarillu, filmed largely in Australia and produced by Chiranjeevi's brother Nagendra Babu. It struggled at the box office on release, but Harris Jayaraj's songs, such as "Chilipiga" and "Nenu Nuvvantu", were hugely popular and the film has since gained a devoted following.
