Oru Yamandan Premakadha (2019)

Lallu, the cheerful, unambitious son of a well-off family, earns his keep as a house painter with his friends and refuses to marry anyone he does not truly love. One chance sighting convinces him he has found her, and his search for the mysterious woman sends him and his gang through a series of comic adventures and into a darker story he never expected. Oru Yamandan Premakadha ("a terrific love story") was the debut of director B. C. Noufal and written by actor-writers Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan. It was Dulquer Salmaan's return to Malayalam cinema after a gap spent on Hindi and Telugu projects, and it is a light, small-town entertainer.
