Paiyaa (2010)

Shiva is a jobless young man in Bangalore who falls for a girl he glimpses on the street. By a lucky accident she ends up in the car he is driving, asking to be taken to Mumbai, and he agrees without a word about how he feels. On the long road trip he learns she is running from relatives who want to force her into marriage, while he has his own enemies, a Mumbai gang with a score to settle, and the journey becomes a series of chases and fights as well as a slow-burning romance. Paiyaa was a big Tamil hit of 2010 for director N. Linguswamy and Karthi, and Yuvan Shankar Raja's songs, including "Adada Mazhaida" and "Thuli Thuli", were chart-toppers.
