Surya Narayana was an honest judge who walked away from the bench after one of his verdicts ended in tragedy, and now runs a small shop. His son Lucky is his opposite: a flashy lawyer who calls himself purely commercial and will defend anyone who pays. When Lucky takes on the cases of Vivek, a ruthless businessman, father and son end up on opposite sides, and the courtroom becomes a battleground of wits. Along the way Lucky crosses paths with Jhansi, a television soap actress who has convinced herself she can play a lawyer in real life. Maruthi, known for light, commercial Telugu entertainers, mixes courtroom drama, comedy and action, and Raashi Khanna's comic turn as Jhansi was one of the film's most talked-about elements. Sathyaraj and Rao Ramesh bring weight to the father and the villain.
