Param is an unconventional young man who lives by whim, drifts from job to job and from place to place, and refuses to plan his life. Along the way he meets women who change him, and his journey becomes a gentle, offbeat inquiry into fate, love and what it means to live well. Yogaraj Bhat, known for the landmark hit Mungaru Male, gave Puneeth Rajkumar a role far removed from his action-hero image, with Bhat's trademark witty, philosophical dialogue and lyrics. V. Harikrishna's songs were very popular in Karnataka. The film's leisurely, reflective style divided some audiences but has a loyal following.
