Parambarai (1996)

Parambarai ('lineage') is a 1990s Tamil family drama starring Prabhu, the son of Sivaji Ganesan, with Roja as the heroine. The story centres on family pride, duty to one's ancestors and a feud that tests the hero's loyalties. It mixes sentiment, action and songs in the style of the decade's rural family entertainers.
