Srinivas is a young man from a small town who needs money fast to save his family's honour and his marriage plans. He heads to Chennai, where his old friend Kalyan talks him into a quick-money scheme: stealing a valuable chip and formula from a scientist's laboratory. The job goes wrong, and Kalyan is accidentally injected with an experimental serum that turns him into a woman, played by Hansika Motwani, while gangsters and the scientist's men close in on the pair. Partner is a broad fantasy comedy built on the confusion that follows, with Yogi Babu's comic timing at its centre and Aadhi Pinisetty as the straight man. It is a light, undemanding entertainer aimed at viewers who enjoy body-swap style comedy and slapstick chases.
