Pataki (2017)

The hero is a police officer who joined the force for the perks rather than the duty, taking money from criminals and enjoying the high life. A turn of events brings him face to face with the family he walked away from and with a dangerous criminal he once helped, and he begins to use his cunning for the right side. Pataki is the Kannada remake of the Telugu hit Pataas (2015), which starred Kalyan Ram, with Golden Star Ganesh playing a rare mass police role in place of his usual romantic comedies. The film mixes comedy, family emotion and action.
