Pattanathil Bhootham (2009)

Pattanathil Bhootham is a Malayalam fantasy comedy made with children in mind. Mammootty plays a good-natured ghost who comes into the lives of a bunch of kids and their family, using his powers to help them and to fight off the villains making trouble for them, while Kavya Madhavan plays the heroine. Directed by Johny Antony, the film relies on visual-effects tricks, slapstick and Mammootty's lighter side, and was pitched as a holiday entertainer for families.
