An old man is a revered kabaddi champion in his village, and the sport is the pride of his whole clan. A family rift leaves his grandson and the boy's mother living as outsiders, cut off from the household, and when the village turns against them over a dispute, the old man and the young man face a challenge that can only be settled on the kabaddi court. Director A. Sarkunam, known for village-centred films such as Kalavani, mixes family emotion with sports action, with Rajkiran as the patriarch and Atharvaa as the grandson.
