Phool Aur Pathor (1998)

Phool Aur Pathor ("the flower and the stone") is a 1998 Bengali romantic drama directed by Dulal Bhowmik, starring Prasenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta, who made a long string of popular films together in the 1990s. As the title suggests, it sets a gentle love against hard-hearted opposition, with family conflict, songs and some action in the style of Bengali mainstream films of the period.
