Pourudu (2008)

Pourudu ("citizen") is a 2008 Telugu action drama directed by Raj Aditya. Sumanth plays the lead, with Kajal Aggarwal as the heroine in one of her first Telugu films, made shortly before her breakthrough in Magadheera. Suman, a popular action hero of the 1980s, appears in an important supporting role. The film works in the familiar mould of action, family sentiment and romance. It is little discussed today, but it offers an early look at Kajal on her way to becoming one of the top stars of South Indian cinema.
