Preethsod Thappa (1998)

Preethsod Thappa ("Is it wrong to love?") is a Kannada romantic drama directed by and starring V. Ravichandran, the "Crazy Star" known for his lavish, music-driven romances. He plays a man whose love for the heroine, played by Hindi star Shilpa Shetty in one of her rare Kannada films, runs into fierce opposition from family and society, with Prakash Raj in a key role. The film follows the director's familiar style: grand song picturisations, emotional confrontations and a hero who fights for his love.
