Kanagavel teaches PT at a private school and has been taught by his anxious mother to stay away from every fight, whatever happens. He would rather joke, flirt with a colleague and keep his head down. But when a young woman from his neighbourhood is harassed and humiliated, and the powerful man who runs the school uses his influence to bury the matter, Kanagavel can no longer look away, and the conflict ends up in a courtroom. Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, who also composed the songs, plays the reluctant hero, with Thiagarajan as the influential antagonist. The film mixes light comedy in its first half with a message about the treatment of women and victim-shaming in the second.
