Pulliman (2010)

Pulliman ("spotted deer") is a 2010 Malayalam drama directed by Anil K. Nair, with Kalabhavan Mani in the lead and Meera Nandan as the heroine. Mani plays a gentle, rough-edged man of the kind that suited his warm screen persona, in a story of love, loss and village life rather than the action he was often cast in. It is a small, sincere film; little more reliable information about it has been published.
