Punnagai Desam (2002)

Punnagai Desam ('land of smiles') is a 2002 Tamil drama directed by K. Shahjahan, with Telugu star Tarun, Sneha and Kunal in the leads and Preetha Vijayakumar in a key role. It is a story of young people chasing their ambitions, tested by setbacks, friendship and romance, made in the warm, song-filled style of Tamil youth dramas of the early 2000s. Sneha was then rising quickly as one of Tamil cinema's favourite heroines. The Hindi version is known as Badalti Tasveer.
