Queen (2014)

Rani is a shy, sheltered young woman from Delhi's Rajouri Garden, and her wedding to Vijay is just two days away when he calls it off. After a day of tears she makes a surprising decision: she will go on the pre-booked honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam by herself. Abroad for the first time, she is thrown together with people she would never have met at home, a free-spirited hotel worker and a trio of male backpackers sharing her hostel room, and slowly discovers confidence, fun and a sense of who she is. Queen became a sleeper hit and a landmark for Hindi films led by women. Kangana Ranaut, who also co-wrote the dialogue, won the National Film Award for Best Actress, and the film won the National Award for Best Hindi Feature Film. Amit Trivedi's songs, including "London Thumakda", were hugely popular.
