Race Gurram (2014)

Ram is serious, honest and a police officer; his younger brother Lucky is carefree, quick-witted and permanently in trouble. The two have bickered since childhood, to their mother's despair. When Ram crosses Shiva Reddy, a gangster with political ambitions, he is badly hurt and sidelined, and it falls to Lucky to take on Shiva Reddy using cheek, nerve and a great deal of improvisation, including an elaborate plan in which a bumbling officer called Kill Bill Pandey becomes a crucial pawn. Race Gurram ("race horse") was the biggest Telugu hit of 2014 and one of Allu Arjun's most popular films, praised for his dancing and timing. It was Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan's first Telugu film, and Brahmanandam's Kill Bill Pandey episode became one of his most quoted comic turns.
