Radio Guyana Inc. is a family minded music station in Georgetown that bills itself the number one radio station in Guyana and sells the whole thing on one line, More Music More Memories. Its sound is the Indo-Guyanese coastal mix: contemporary and vintage Bollywood songs sitting comfortably next to chutney, soca, reggae, R and B, pop, country and jazz. The day opens with The Early Morning Show, the Hindi music hour Anant Sunheri keeps the older film songs alive, and the evening rush belongs to Desi Drive Time. Talk gets a look in too, through The Check In and the opinion slot Say It Loud. The studios sit in the Queens Atlantic Industrial Estate at Ruimveldt, and the station leans hard on the idea that tuning in is less like switching on a radio and more like coming home.
