About Radio Mitre AM 790

One of Buenos Aires' big talk stations, on 790 kHz medium wave, built entirely around news, opinion and sport rather than records. The weekday run moves from an early-morning current-affairs block through a late-morning news magazine, an afternoon strip and an evening wrap, each fronted by a well-known Argentine journalist. Weekends add farming, politics and football coverage, plus a late-night Argentine song programme. It is part of the Cienradios group and its site doubles as a rolling news service.
