About Radio One Albania

Radio One Albania is a pure music station that runs down the country's western side, from Tirana and Lushnje through Fier and Vlore to Sarande near the Greek border, with a transmitter on the Llogara pass in between. Its own strapline is Music From All Times, and that is exactly what the day sounds like: hits kept coming with no decade fenced off and very little standing between the songs. There is no news hour and no long talk block to interrupt it, so it works as easily in a car on the coast road as in a cafe. The seven FM transmitters all carry the one feed, which is also streamed online, so the station sounds the same wherever you pick it up. Its resident DJ Aldo is the one name Radio One puts forward beside its own accounts.

Albanian. Radio One's own web pages and its strapline are written in English, but the station is licensed and transmitted across Albania for Albanian listeners.
