About Radio Plus Fever

Radio Plus Fever is one of three webradios that the Defimedia group runs alongside its main Radio Plus signal in Mauritius, and it is the one to put on for the island's own sound. Where the parent station carries the news and the phone-ins, Fever simply plays music, and in the station's own words its brief is the best of local music, zouk, reggae, dancehall, sega, soukouss and R'n'B. Sega and Mauritian local records sit at the centre of it, and the rotation reaches out across the Indian Ocean so that music from Reunion, Madagascar and Seychelles belongs there too. There is no separate schedule and no named line-up: it runs as a continuous music stream through the day and the night. It is online only, carried from the Radio Plus site rather than on an FM frequency of its own.
