Satya Reddy arrives in Hyderabad and quickly makes his mark in a city split between powerful gangs, working for one boss while manoeuvring against another. He is fearless, smart and has a sense of humour, and two women are drawn to him along the way. It soon becomes clear that his rise is part of a larger plan, and the reason behind it lies in his past. Ragada was a commercial action entertainer that gave Nagarjuna a mass makeover, pairing him with Anushka Shetty and Priyamani, with songs by S. Thaman. It was produced by his frequent collaborator D. Siva Prasad Reddy.
