Shekharankutty seems the most ordinary of men: a soft-spoken husband and father devoted to his wife and daughter, running a modest life far from any trouble. When a gang of dangerous criminals crosses his path and threatens his family, the mild-mannered man begins to show a very different side, and the people around him start to wonder who he really was before he settled down. Rajadhi Raja was the debut of director Ajai Vasudev, who went on to make Masterpiece and Shylock, also with Mammootty. It is an out-and-out mass entertainer built around the star's swagger, with Raai Laxmi as his wife and Joju George in support.
