Rakshasa Rajavu (2001)

Rakshasa Rajavu ("demon king") is a Malayalam action drama directed by Vinayan, starring Mammootty as a police officer, with Dileep, Meena and Kalabhavan Mani. Feared and seemingly unscrupulous, the officer appears to serve the powerful, but the film gradually reveals a man playing a deeper game against corruption and those who have wronged ordinary people. Dileep supplies comedy and warmth alongside the star's brooding presence. A commercial Mammootty vehicle from the early 2000s with action, drama and songs.
