Ranam (2024)

Ranam ("battle") is a Kannada action thriller directed by V. Samudra, starring Chiranjeevi Sarja and Chetan Kumar, with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in a strong role. The story pits officers of the law against a ruthless criminal network, with gunfights, chases and the personal cost of the war on crime. The film was long delayed: Chiranjeevi Sarja, nephew of action star Arjun Sarja, died in June 2020, and Ranam was among the films he completed that reached audiences after his death. The Hindi dub was released as Gun Licence.
