Ranga SSLC (2004)

Ranga SSLC is a 2004 Kannada action-romance starring Sudeep as Ranga, a tough, streetwise young man whose name carries the label of the SSLC, the school-leaving exam, as a badge of his limited schooling. Romance with the characters played by Ramya and Daisy Bopanna mixes with the rough world of the hero's quarrels and enemies. The film was the directorial debut of Yogaraj Bhat, who would go on to make the blockbuster Mungaru Male two years later and become one of Kannada cinema's best-known writer-directors, noted for his witty dialogue. It also came early in Sudeep's rise to stardom.
