Gautham was once the life and soul of his college gang, but after graduation and a personal setback he has withdrawn from the world. His old friends decide that a trip to Goa is the cure, and they drag him there, where pranks, misunderstandings and his growing feelings for a young woman, Shreya, start to pull him out of his shell. Role Models is a light Malayalam comedy from Rafi, the writer-director known for comic entertainers, with Fahadh Faasil in an unusually breezy role and Vinayakan and Sharafudheen leading the comedy. Much of it was shot in Goa, and the film celebrates friendship.
